Think spring!
Back by popular demand – Joyce Leake!
Joyce Leake, an internationally recognized animal communicator, is giving a weekend-long workshop where you can complete all five levels of Joyce’s animal communication program. The workshops are Saturday and Sunday. Friday evening is a demonstration and happy hour that’s open to the public for $5. It’s all March 8-10. Check it out here
So your kid wants a horse?
How many times have you heard that? If you’ve been on the receiving end of that question, let us help. We’re offering a new three-hour course called Horse Ownership 101 that will cover everything from A to Z, including expenses, care, responsibilities, how to buy a horse, boarding, etc. We want you to go into horse ownership with your eyes wide open. Click here for more details and for dates.
It’s Ladies’ Day at SHC!
Ladies, the barn is yours. No kids, no men, just a group of women who share a passion for horses and enjoy sharing time together while riding and learning more about these magnificent creatures. It’s Similar Spirits – Women and Horses Gathering, a two-hour program where ability levels aren’t important. What is important is that women get a chance to enjoy each other’s company and ride. Click here for more details and dates. See you at the barn!
Kids! Day Camps, Saturday Sessions coming up
If your kids are looking for a fun activity this spring, bring them to the barn! We still have Saturday Sessions on the calendar for February-May, and two more Day Camps are available for kids looking for something to do when there’s no school. Both are for kids ages 3-12 and open to all riding levels. Click here for dates and details.
Build a business from holistic practices
A four-hour seminar March 9 called “Transform your holistic practice into a profitable business,” is an exciting addition to Spirit Horse Center’s educational programming and a great chance to learn from one of the best: Joyce Leake, an internationally recognized animal communicator and owner of Animal University. For more details, click here. You don’t want to miss this one!
Is horsemanship an art form?
Here’s a philosophical question for you to ponder. Click here to read some interesting thoughts on the subject by SHC owner Staci Grattan. She also includes a description of common themes among all great horsemen and women. It’s some great food for thought.
