Bowen Therapy for Horses Level One
June 4–7 | Spirit Horse Center
Instructor: Michelle Patterson
Join us for a hands-on Bowen Therapy class focused on supporting the health and comfort of horses, with learning that also applies to people. Bowen Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses light, rolling moves over muscles and connective tissue. These simple moves help the body relax, reset, and heal itself naturally.
The class begins with students practicing Bowen Therapy on each other so they can feel and understand the work in their own bodies. Once students are comfortable with the techniques, the class will move on to working with horses. You will learn how to adapt Bowen Therapy for equine bodies, support movement and balance, and recognize changes in relaxation and response.
This class is ideal for horse owners, bodyworkers, and anyone interested in gentle, whole-body healing for both horses and humans. No force is used—just quiet, respectful touch that allows the body to do what it does best.
Basic horse knowledge as well as the basics of safe horse handling are a pre-requisite to take this course.

Bowen Therapy for Horses – Level Two
September 11–13 | Spirit Horse Center
Instructor: Michelle Patterson
This Level Two Bowen Therapy class is designed for students who have completed Level One and want to deepen their skills with both horses and humans. In this class, you will build confidence, improve your touch, and learn how to create more complete Bowen sessions.
Bowen Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses light rolling moves over muscles and connective tissue. These simple moves help the body relax, reset, and support its own healing process. At Level Two, students learn how to better read body responses and make thoughtful choices during a session.
The class will begin with students working on each other to refine technique and timing. From there, students will move into more advanced work with horses, focusing on patterns, sequencing, and supporting movement, comfort, and balance. You will also learn how to adjust sessions based on what you see and feel in the horse.
This class is ideal for those ready to expand their Bowen Therapy practice, strengthen their connection with horses, and continue learning in a calm, supportive environment.

Holistic Horsemanship Foundation Certification Course Part 1
Instructor Staci Grattan – Reach Out to Horses Certified Trainer and Instructor
Do a deep dive into horse whispering and holistic horsemanship. This jam packed 12 day course will be offered one 3 day weekend a per month Feb-July. Friday evenings, Saturdays and part of the day on Sundays. Start date the evening of February 20th, 2026
This transformative horsemanship class can accommodate seasoned horse folks, those re-entering the horse world after a sabbatical, those new to horses and everyone in between. The only requirement is that you are willing to explore a new way to be and connect with horses. We will be exploring many topics including true partnership, giving a voice to the horses, exploring our authentic selves, herd wisdom, the true language of equus, energy fields, mindful handling and training and so much more.
